What is The Ronald McDonald House?
The Ronald McDonald House? of Arkansas is a ?home-away-from-home? for families whose child is being served at Arkansas Children's Hospital, or for some adults who are receiving outpatient cancer treatments at the Arkansas Cancer Research Centeror Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute.The house was developed to provide a homelike atmosphere for families facing the stress of medical treatment for their child. Families are able to share their concerns, experiences and fears with others facing similar circumstances.
